Alternator for a 530d

please can anyone assist me with where to obtain an alternator for a 530d, e60 year model 2004 at a reasonable price

Hi Niren,

Whats wrong with the old one? Will a Auto electrician not be able to repair it? My Navara's altenator regulator packed up a while back, Nissan wanted R3000 odd, took it to Motolec, cost was R600 at the end of the day.

thanks for the reply, i have recently been getting a charge failure. recently while driving the display on my sat nav started flashing and then dynamic drive failure, transmission failure run flat failure. I replaced the battery bought from BMW for a shit load and the car ran like a dream and it happened again.
