Thanks for the post.

I paid the same at an aircon specialist... expensive i know...

I wouldn't trust the people on the side of the road...

I paid R500 at Hi-Q in Gezina to have mine filled about 3 months ago and no complaint.

Thank you to the OP for the invoice, now I know how much the dealers ask for the same thing.

Thanks for the post... as i need to get mine re-filled.

@Chefdj you say that's pricey... what would a fair price be then?

Think about it, how many times are you going to fill your aircon gas....... maybe 1 or 2 times max, unless you are like me and wanna keep it.

You fill it today and drive till 2018 or 2019 and then refill it, even at R900 it is still a bargain. I did choose not to go to BMW as seeing you have to book your car, then pay then wait for it, probably whole day, then get it back and last time I checked BMW has this nasty habbit of giving you a bill that has EXTRAS on it, things you didn't discuss with them.

So I avoided that inconvenience and went to Hi-Q for it. Same thing just cheaper, well I have to say...... I did baby sit the employee who worked on my car :fencelook:

I always go to a place in Meadowdale called Pit Auto Tech or something. They do a full aircon service for 450 mandelas. Pressure check, leak check and regas.

I was told that you would only need to regas an aircon system if the system has been opened or if there is a leak?

Am I not servicing my aircon system?? It does blow cold air ..
