Aircon diagnosis needed

Hi, I have been struggling to get the the aircon in my E36 sorted. My mech already replaced the compressor, some seals and the evaporator but still hasn't got it to work for more than a few days. Needless to say I'm not taking it back to him to experiment any more and hope that someone can recommend a reliable business or person who can diagnose the problem on this car and fix it. Anyone close to Centurion would be best.

Thanks

Don't expect a mechanic to fix your aircon.

Take it to an aircon specialist. I am not joking about this. Have in the past, had the aircon stop working while cruising in the E46.
Took it to Iceberg Aircons in Stikland (Bellville Cape Town) and they were able to diagnose the issue and fix it. Although I needed an expensive new clutch on the AC motor.

So find an AC specialist, someone who work on aircons in cars. I am 100% sure that will get you sorted.

Phone Gerrie on 082 479 1935

He is situated in 34th avenue in Villieria Pretoria, and a honest guy.
Do not use this guy!

After having a look at my car he asked for money upfront to buy parts and some other stuff. When I took the car to him today to get it fitted he smelt of alcohol, and when asked to see the parts he bought they were totally wrong. He insisted he could modify it to make it work... Also had lots of stories of why he needed payment upfront, my fault for not trusting my instincts.

Highly doubt I'd get anything back but very relieved I did not leave my car with him. Another unfortunate lesson learnt, too many crooks around.
