Airbag scanner and reset tool

Need help please from someone in Cape Town area to reset airbag light on my 1998 E36 318iS! Thanks!

I can reset it with carsoft. But what ever triggerd it?

Iceman007, thanks for responding. I could come to Cape Town today if you have time to help me reset the airbag light. I bought the car two weeks ago and the previous owner did mention that the airbag light was coming on periodically because of the wiring under the seat. I did clean/vacuum there so i assume there is either a bad connection or broken wire that triggers the airbag. I will tighten the wiring under the seat to try and prevent any further triggers.

Previous owner did not give you full picture.

Airbag lights are not sporadic. They are either off, or they are on.

it could be the wiring under the seat, its what it normally is, but if there was a dodgy connection, the light will stay on until you find a computer and reset it.

Ill be off only from sunday to wendsday. Pm me if you want. I dont want you to drive all the way and then I cant reset it because of the pressure pad in the seat so I hope it was just a loose connection. Oh ill be in Paarl Monday morning at BMW for I have a wheelbearing issue on my F30.
