Air Flow Sensor/meter

Hi everybody. How would I know if my Air Flow Sensor/meter is faulty? :thinking:

First step is get your error codes read. Sometimes it will show up. You can also disconnect it and see if the car runs better then. Or you could try to clean it and see if it makes an improvement. If any of the tests point to MAF, it is time to replace it because there is no permanant cure for a faulty film type MAF.

While the car is idling unplug it, if the car runs the same or better, it is stuffed, if the car runs worse, then it is probably still fine, for now.
