air con

Hi all

I have a 318ti and the air con stopped working so I thought it ran out of gas. Gas guy says there's more than enough, but when I presss the air con button no cold air comes out. The revs drop as if the air con is kicking in, but no cold air comes out. Anyone have a similar experience? Just want to have an idea before I take it to have it fixed.

Does the fan blow out air when you put it on or does nothing happen at all just the revs drop.

My fan didn't blow at all and i changed the Blower fan resistor(cost me R700 ex labour) and worked perfect after that.

It blows, but the air's not cold.

Try changing the pollen filter first....It may be the compressor is on its way out though

Discovered the coil clutch on my air con's compressor is finished. Anyone know where I can get it replaced in Cape Town?

Wanna of the hottest days on JHB history, and my aircon doesn't work properly. FML... Where can I go, close to sandton, where I can sort out this problem and not get ripped off? I'm hoping it just needs gas.
