What racing game is the best? Have XBoxOne with Logitech s/w. Love circuit racing and not a big fan of street racing. Also enjoy rally racing. So, what should i get now?

if you want a hardcore sim experience then Asetto Corsa.
What's your thoughts on this game? I disappointed with the lotus, major understeer that doest make a lot of sense to me.

I am actually leaning more towards Project Cars 2. What experience anyone? Compare this with Assetto Corsa, which one is better?

Project Cars is a great looking game, but the game play isn't very realistic and actually sucks quite bad imo. Assetto Corsa is 10x better if you're looking for something realistic, if you're looking for an arcade type game though Forza Horizon will be the best bet

F1 2018 looks damn good! Haven't tried it as yet either but I'll most likely be getting it soon.

Definitely Assetto Corsa. I have it on PC. Logitech wheel too. 5760x1080 ftw. Just wish I had time to play

If you after a more realistic experience and have the hardware (steering + pedals( even better with a H-shifter) then I would say Assetto Corsa is the way to go, particularly the handling characteristics of the cars and some of the tracks I think are laser scanned, this is where a force feedback wheel will shine. in terms of learning braking points, race lines, etc I'd say it's very accurate. If you use it online and get exposed to seasoned sim racers then you really get a feel for a true realistic sim race experience.

Thanks for the update, sadly I don't have all the gear.

I like the arcade types, I wanna crash into sh1t the whole time and hit other drivers.
and for that Horizon is cool, but beware, it gets old very soon (for me anyways)

I primarily use it for GT racing.
Also use it to practice my "vision" and coordination.

@"Solo Man"  Assetto Corsa is getting on in life, and whilst it is a great sim and I think it is a good decision to go with it, may I also suggest Assetto Corsa Competizione if you are serious about circuit racing. ACC is made obviously by the same team that developed Assetto Corsa, but ACC uses a more recent game engine with better physics, lighting etc. and is focused more on real world GT3 endurance championships such as the blancpain endurance series and the intercontinental GT championship. Meaning races can take place at night, day, or over the period of an entire day like the Spa 24 hour race, or the kyalami 9 hours.  The original Assetto Corsa does not have a day night engine unfortunately.

There are GT3 and GT4 individual series as well as mixed series, meaning you can have GT3 and GT4 in the same race. Passing traffic becomes very fun at midnight on spa.

There is also a racing league in SA called Sim Race SA that uses this sim for the GT3 series of races.

Without going into to much detail, the sim takes all of the realism from Assetto Corsa and dials it up a notch. It is a lot of fun and uses a similar rating system to iRacing to monitor your driver progress for online racing. This keeps online races clean as crashing will negatively affect your safety rating etc. Every track in ACC is laser scanned, including a 2019 laser scanned version of Kyalami. Every single bump and crack is captured and felt through the Force Feedback system. If they are in the real world track, they are in the sim.

Have bought Asseta Corsa some time ago but find it difficult to have a nice clean race. Grid came out end of last year and i am currently running that and find it very nice for lack of a better word. Currently have about 24m credits on this game so obviously playing it a lot. Also find the Dirt games very nice (that word again) Have played Cars 2 for a while at the beginning of the Lockdown but stopped my subs on it as it is also nice to play but can become slightly unrealistic. Do like the wet weather races with the puddles affecting the cars as you drive through them though. Miss that on Grid for example. Any one know when the follow up of Forza 7 will be coming out as i do not like the Forza street racing games?
