Hi,
Read this thread and it will give you some guide of what to look for. Take the car to a suspension shop and have them test the front suspension for the control arms as the bushes are the things you will replace the most. Then take the car for diagnostics and see if there is error codes and then based on that and this thread below go ahead and buy the car.
Regarding the kilometres, I drove my first bmw an E36 up to 467000km and it was still running as the day I bought it. Look after the car and it will look after you. You will only reach this kilometres in 6 years from now on an average person 25 - 30k a year drive.
