I'm posting this thread under the ///M Fanatics Forum as I think it would be best suited here? If not, please feel to move it to the correct forum :grin:
It would be a great help to me if the M6 owners and other fanatics with knowledge on the M6 could give me some advice on these beasts!
The car(s) in question:
2007 E63 M6, grey, with 68000km on the clock, stock
2006 E64 M6, black, with 38000 km on the clock, stock
They're both within their respective trade & retail price ranges.
I will be going to see the grey M6 over the weekend and would like to know what problems I could possibly look for?
I've heard a lot of bad things about failure of the SMG gearbox in the M3 but was it improved for the M5/6?
What are the possible problem areas with these cars? Being an ///M car I know if something breaks, the bills will pile so i'd like to be ready for it (possibly LOL).
Any and all advice will be appreciated! :ty:
