Advice Needed: F25 20dX Maintenance

Good afternoon

New to the thread. Recently took ownership of my mother’s 2016 f25 x3 20dX that she drove from new and currently has BMW dealer FSH.

Currently on 120k km.

I would like to drive the car until it dies and do not plan on selling it.
Excluding ZF service that should be done between now and 150k, what other preventative maintenance should I do?

Is cat and egr delete worth the hassle and would be a downpipe be beneficial. I understand that this requires a remap and if done incorrectly can go pear shaped( Greater wear and tear and smoking ). If it is worth the hassle, what workshops do you recommend?
I am based in JHB.

Finally, could you please include an estimated cost for your recommendations.

Thanks a lot!

Hi there what beautiful X3. Enjoy

Generic B47/N47 advice. F25 owners can tap in.

1. In terms of maintenance, inspect vibration dampener pulley, tensioner and drivebelt. If it is a concern, visual cracks, then replace - around R15k at agents.
2. Cooling system: the usual culprit is the coolant flange that starts leaking circa 150k km. Check for coolant residue around said hose. Cheap part but can be labor intensive.
3. Cat delete (downpipe), egr and swirl flap delete coupled with a tune would most definitely be beneficial. Depends on tuner, but you are looking at +-R10k. Selling oem downpipe can return between R1.5k-R2k.
4. Intake manifold may have carbon build up- give it a proper clean.
5. I would always recommend having you battery and alternator tested. Usualy free at tyre shop.
6. I know with Xdrive, you don't mix tyres to negate transfer case issues. Stick to one brand/pattern.

What will the car be used for?

Thank you so much for your in depth response!
What about Diff oil and transfer case oil?

Stunning car, congrats

All of the above is perfect advice.
Start with the gearbox, transfer case, front and rear diff oil change at ZF
