has anyone on this board been for the M5 advanced driving. mine is booked for the 28th march. just wanted to know what it was like

I have booked the high performance course for the 22nd, will let you know how that goes, there should some who have already gone, try a search .

Did the M5 course. Was OK I guess. Not enough track time IMHO. Audi's is better. Get the traction control off as soon as possible and start caning it from the start because the track time is over before you know it.

Also did it in a 328. Was fun to a point. The instructor limits you a lot as to what gear you can be in and so on. Half the time was at the rev limiter and the guy says to keep in the lower revs. I eventually backed off the throttle and was pretty disappointing really.

I think it all depends on who ure instructor is, the guy i had kept telling me to go faster and faster where i was over taking atleast 1 person a lap. And he made me push the car to the limit.

No idea about cost my package came with the car. I don't think u can book for the m5 without owning one cause I had to submit my vin number I might be wrong though

They told me you buy a course, at R13k.

I did it in September last year in the 1M. Awesome experience, but I must agree that the track time was limiting. Only half the day for track time is not enough in my opinion.

Did they actually have a 1m for you to use. Because I was Given a DCT M3 due to them not owning a 1m. Would have made more sense if manual. Was fun still.

Was it the 19th of September. There was two 1M guys on that course. If so I met you there.
