A brilliant car that. I test drove it last month but have not had time to write a review.

You wont believe the power it makes. Handles like a typical BMW...fantastic progression....

And yes, i would buy one. Fuel or no fuel consumption on the full electric versions - is beyond belief :praise:

It depends on how efficient it is and if its accommodated in SA. dont wanna wake up one morning and find my car wont start cause the cables were stolen.

You can charge it at your house

Still plenty to be done in terms of infrastructure development & building consumer confidence in the hybrids & full electric cars but its the future. Once the i8 hit our roads and lay down QM times and pounch on the GTRs then we will want them...in fact we should not even bother because the full electric supercar i8 planned for release next year is already sold out...:inlove:

@Twinz, where did you test drive it bud? i personally think that these will be cool, i just hope that they develop one that has a sort of "boost" feel to it.

In George/oudshoorn on invite of BMW SA.

The full electric Actives have endless boost feel to it. Power climbs from 0 - to the end of the odometer clock in a couple of seconds...it only stops when you take your foot off the accellerator. The power buildup is scary because it is so quick...you will have tons of "boost" without the boost leaks :=):

If you can't JB4 it then what's the point!?? :biglol:

Jokes aside, it's an amazing piece of tech this. Read a bit on it and everyone that's experienced it is astonished at the usability and performance it gives while still feeling like a car and not a gadget! Impeccable BMW
