AC schnitzer or BMW Performance Suspension

bmw performance will probably be higher than ACS
ACS is more expensive than eibach, even though eibach makes their springs.... but as you said, suspension mplan cover will only remain unaffected if you fit the ACS.
therefore, in conclusion.......................... ACS (if u have to)

while you guys got this topic going, I wanna get H&R Clubsport nurburgring setup for my 540i ... I know its race springs and not street springs. but have anyone tried these are have any info/input on them ?
Revo is right the BMW performance kit only lowers 15mm...same as most stock sportpacks but behaves way...way sportier...(so i heard).
The HR race springs will give you a truly slammed look...but you need tuned shocks with those...it will kill the stock shocks in the long term.

I had have some feedback from the dealers today
The summary of the two so far is as follows:
BMW Performance Kit: R16,300 + Vat
Front and rear springs + Sways and a few minor parts.
AC Schnitzer: R16,100 + Vat
Front and rear springs and Strut Brace, waiting to find if it includes sways
I still have a bit more research to do as I see a few guys with 135’s and 335’s also swop out some of the suspension components with those from the M3, Giving them a little more negative camber up front and decreasing the under steer, as well as stiffer bushings to tighten up the rear.
Cost wise the kits are the same, but if the AC Schnitzer doesn’t have sways then I’ll go with the BMW Performance, as my main goal is not really to lower the car but have more neutral handling and less under steer.

Yes revo, sorry you are correct both kits include socks and springs, not just springs, i have asked for a full parts list on both kits will post it when i get it, still trying to find out about the M3 Parts,

Hi Revo, I have to ask which dealership you spoke to about pricing, both JSN and Auto alpina boksburg quoted an additional 5K labour above the 16K for the suspension kits, oh and the AC Schnitzer is an additional 2K if you want sways too, so 18K in total for the Schnitzer kit + 5K labour to fit. based on cost you get more for your money with the BMW performance kit.
