My E36 used to pop the abs fuse after an emergency stop, this caused the light to come on. Check the fuse first

Ok, can anyone help scan or know of a good bmw mechanic in the east rand, my abs light comes on then goes off after a while?

Clean your sensor dude... start there, examine the condition, the cheap route first before you start paying for parts... also check and make sure, your pads are fine all round, and your Brake Fluid Level is fine
