A468 Error code -E90

Hoping a fanatic can help! I continuously get this error when running a diagnostic: A468 - no LVDS signal. If I reset it, it just comes back when the car is re-started. I cannot find a post which defines exactly what this code means or how to resolve it. Any help would be most appreciated.

Best advice I can give you, have the car diagnosed by a decent diagnostics software, BMW DIS, BMW INPA is your friend.

Quick google search indicates iDrive. But that was on a 1 series.

I get that too... Ive tried few different scanning tools, obdII INPA and snapOn, all report the same code, i been advised that only bmw can clarify what that code is. I haven't done much research online yet but that what i been told. Update us if you get a result. Ill post asa i get update.

The error directs you to an iDrive fault. I have also done a quick Google and found one possible remedy, to reset the iDrive
Press CD eject, (DVD eject) and radio mute (the volume knob) simultaneously. If not cured, possible screen replacement....
