I present, my '98 Samoa Blue E36 323i

I bought her from a fellow Fanatic a few weeks ago, and what a car she is! She is also my first 6-cylinder :cartel:

Since picking her up I took to her my local panelshop for a front bumper respray, an incredible job of PDR on the bonnet, new side skirt clips, side mirror resprayed, new tow-eye cover and a respray of the wheel well/ battery tray (I am being a bit pedantic here, but I really want her perfect). I also fitted a set of new Bosch Aerotwin wipers.

The interior of this car is really quite incredible, everyone who has sat in it agrees that basically it looks (and smells) like new. I think to finish it off a new set of black mats from the agents are in order.

It is difficult to describe the Samoa Blue colour, it is a bit of a mix of blue, silver and purple depending on the lighting.

Here are some pics I took after giving her the weekly wash:

Sports steering wheel and 18-button obc (no dead pixels):

Aerotwins, and PDR'd bonnet now completely ding free:

Engine needs a bit of a clean, maybe a job for tomorrow:

My car wash manager:

Thanks for looking :ty:

So I went to visit someone and parked outside, when I got back to the car I found this:

A bird pecked the windscreen cowl a bit :thumbdo:

Congrats!

Do you know what happened to the windscreen rubber?

Dash cam footage reveals the following:

He jumped around for a while but the actual crime is just out of view

I managed to get new cowls from BMW. I see the old passenger side one has a small crack so it was time to replace them anyway.
