What a interesting project. Are you doing the fitment personally or is a shop donig it for you? Would be interested to find out more information. Maybe you can create a build thread?

sorry for not giving u more info on project:sorry:.the engine we fitting came out of a 2006 m5 v10 and gearbox nd diff,so far we removed front supension and steering box and fitted a suspension with a rack,rear axle completet ,fitted the m5 diff with the m5 driveshafts<the m5 steering with steering wheel and steering colum is also fitted in 850,we doing it step by step,this week we doing the tank and brake system fitting the m5 brake booster and abs system.will post sum pics in week,i might have a problem gettig the key agents help me<i send the cass and key module to henri of combined electronics hope he can help

I have just received my 840Ci ( 4.4L MT62TU ) from the UK. I have been toying with the idea of installing the E39 M5 Motor and box ( not much of a SMG fan ). Your thoughts on fitting the V10, when the V8 would have been a lot simpler ? Also, I might be interested in your wheels and other bits. Can you send me a pic or two ? Tks, Nazeem

I've seen the Motor fitted to a dummy chassis. It's being done by Calvin @ Dragon customs in Killarney gardens.
