So this is my 10 year project which will be shown for the first time at the George Show on 11 Feb:

Engine:

Rebored .5mm oversize and new pistons and rings;
Bottom end balanced from clutch to crank pulley;
Lightened flywheel;
300deg Alpina Cam;
Enlarged S/S Exhaust Valves;
Compression Ratio upped to 10:1
Alpina A4 Kugelfisher Injection pump;
Pertonix Ignitor Ignition with 40,000V Flame Thrower Coil;
8mm Silicone HT Leads;
Ceramic coated Exhaust manifold and downpipe;
Getrag 235/5 Close Ratio dog-leg box;
Genuine 2002 LSD.........

Nice build Calssicman!

Are you going to go with the Alpina ITBs ala A4s or keep the tii bits?
Is that an alpina worked head, or did you machine it to hemi yourself?

How close to the original 170bhp are you getting?

All good things come to those who wait:=): I said Teaser pics, so I am going to load them one at a time to keep you drooling.....

@Cyclone - I'm building to A4 spec at this stage which had the original tii piston shape and Intake manifold. I have dibs on a new Alpina Throttle body system in Germany to take her to A4/S spec which would also require the hemi piston/head set up, but still need to save up the R30k for the system:cry: Should be getting about 160bhp with the current setup.

Bilstein HD Shocks,
Eibach Lowering Springs (25mm),
Polybushes all round,
E21 Hubs and Ventilated discs,
10mm Spacers in standard tii 4-pot calipers,
2mm increased diameter stabiliser bar.

Bilstein HD Shocks,
Eibach Lowering Springs,
Polybushed,
Bigger Diameter (Turbo) Brake Drums,
Bigger Diameter (Turbo) Slave cylinder,
2mm bigger diameter stabiliser bar.
