Who seroiusly knows how to flow heads properly in Cape Town?

I really would like to do something to the M62 before the end of the year, but I don't know what. The factory heads are kind of well made already.

Maybe some of you that have already been down this (Rather expensive) route can advise as to what honestly works and what doesn't, I have only one (financial) shot at this?

Rick, what about the blower idea.

I have also looked into this, and there is not much that the guys have gotten by fiddling with the heads.

However, I have in mind to build the following

M62B44 pre vanos block
M60 heads
toss intake in fav of 8 individual tb's (like on the S62)
and blower...

What about looking into the 8 tb's ?

After enquiries, the blower idea got $70K US dollar out of hand, cheaper to just buy an E39 M5.

There's just got to be something restricting that 4.4, and as far as I can see it's on the exhaust side, as looking at the intake setup I'm surprised it doesn't make 500Hp already.

Yes, that plastic manifold must go.

I'm up for the challenge of just what can be acheved with good solid brainpower, engineering principles and some cheap grinding tools.

Now that I'm examining the M62 heads I have, they look quite weak compared to the M60. No double valve springs, low lift etc

well...

Other idea, there is a certian german car manufacturer that makes blowers for their production cars, and these are a dime a dozen at yards, because they actually do not break, all your looking for is .7ish boost, nothing hectic.

You would have to modify a bucket load of plumbing and mounting points, but its possible... worth while looking at ? I'll research it with you.

I have discovered that used parts for that brand don't exist in Cape Town, but I think it's a fantastic idea, as simple plumbing and a few brackets here and there are far more apealing to me.

Absoloutly, let's research this, can even be sold as a local kit afterwards if one gets it right.

What about getting the smaller Eaton charger (Dirt cheap) and using one per bank?
