The car was stationary during the past 4 weeks due to the gearbox work and after that, the engine is running rough during idle.
When revving, it revs fine.
The car hunts a bit during start up but settles to an unstable idle.
I've checked the following:
Then I found the point where I had a vacuum leak.
It was on the point where the evaporative purge system used to be connected on USA models. ZA models have a blank on. this little blank cap perished and started leaking badly.

I've checked the following:
- Coolant temperature sensor - ok
- Idle control valve - windings ok and mechanism ok
- no intake boot leaks
- vacuum lines not cracked or perished
- Fuel pressure test done - 3 Bar, but when revving, the pressure doesn't increase, it rather decreases.
