Car is more responsive lower gears, however the Elderly-Mobile will be dyno'd soon to compare results from previous tune :chef:

My butt dyno says there is a difference, definitely at higher speeds, while at lower speeds the car is more driveable and more responsive. I cant confirm yet, but there seems to be an improvement in consumption, but obviously dependant on how heavy your right foot is.

I hope to go back to Kar soon for figures.

Managed to pop by at KAR today. Figures were...... nothing short of amazing.
Compared to previous run at KAR in 3rd gear.

3rd gear compared to 4th.

The best gear is the one that has the closest to 1:1 ratio. On the 6spd auto by zf , the ratios are 1.521:1 for 3rd, 1.143:1 for 4th and 0.867:1 for 5th.

You see then that either 4th or 5th would work, but 3rd would give a different figure.
