525e distributor cap

Gents. Im hoping someone can give me some advice pls. We having trouble getting a good set of plug leads for my aons e28. The cap seems to have pins in the inside, kinda like spark plugs with tips removed. Non of the leads we looked at fit. If we cannot get a good used set of leads, would it be possible to fit the cap from a 323i or 325i and would it work?

Dont think there anything friendly about R2800 for set :-( But thanx for the advice anyway.
