I took the SO to Greenstone to watch it on Saturday and half way through the FF7 trailer load shedding kicked in :bin: We went on Sunday morning to watch and as one of my FB contacts said: 50 shades of grey is like watching an adult film, but with less sex and worse acting. It was really crap, I think the ladies were disappointed too. You see the female actress naked a lot but she looked better with clothes on :tiptoe:

I was also one of the poor unfortunate soles, who is willing to do anything for browny points, so I was also dragged off to watch it. mid way through the movie she told me in a stern voice to stop it. I got bored, so I started randomly shooting popcorn in the air.

We got home and well, lets say there was browny points

I however decided, next time I need to develop a rare disease, or eye infection. It is probably more fun and relaxing getting stabbed, then watching a that load of crap.

Bad acting on the part of both the female and male leads, they attempted to over emphasize their characters persona's. Very annoying sitting through a badly directed movie after being told, this is such an amazing book by my other halfway. LOL when we where done I just gave my SO the "I told you so, this was going to be a shit movie" Look Hahaha felt good after getting an ear full for criticizing the book and movie prior to watching it.

By the sounds of it, and the pre-acclaim, its safe to say it will make majillions at the box office, even if everyone just watches it to confirm how shit it will be in the first place.

i dodged a bullet with this one.
I hit a straight NO when asked, and that was the end of that conversation.

Exactly. Why couldn't the guy just have been an average joe that drove an Opel  All the movie did was confirm that the majority of women will allow abuse and other f#$%ed up things to be done to them as long as they have money to waste supplied by the abuser. I was disappointed that so many women in the cinema didn't even blink an eye when that grey freak was moering the chick in the movie, plenty of them were 50 years old + as well :thumbdo:

the truth in all of this, is that ladies dont know what they want.
they want mature, but want a childish side
want strong males, who have soft hands.....WTF
want child friendly okes who are wild and carefree
men who are spontaneous but carefully orchestrate and plan everything

you see my point.

This 50 shades of grey has been sensationalised, and even though it portrays negatively the roles of men and women and gender stereotypes with dominant males, submissive females......the ladies......all they see is the "romance" portion of this......and the R8 and OMG hes a billionaire.

Its phucken fiction ladies, catch a phucken wake up.

we dont have phucken electricity here, men are jolling in makro buying lanterns and generators, not thinking about buying you a phucken R8.

GET
REAL.
real.
