So all, been a while since I was last here. Time has come to sell my beloved E39 for something a bit newer. After 11 years and 215000 awesome km's, I finally have to say goodbye.
Eventually settled on a 2011 4 door 335i Auto. Started off looking for a manual coupe and somehow ended up with the 4 door auto :flyfun:
Lovely car and very fast - much, much quicker than I was expecting. Test drive blew me away and I knew I just had to have it.
Should collect sometime next week as the car has been sent in for some minor cosmetic repairs before I take delivery.
Any advise on this car's weaknesses and strong points will be appreciated. It has the twin scroll single turbo motor (N55 I think).

Proper warm up before giving it beans and drive gently before you get home to let the turbo cool a bit.

I'm loving mine, just be ready for everyone in any sort of hot hatch to try and bench mark against you at any given opportunity. Sometimes it's laughable, had a guy in a Ford fiesta ST revving the tits off his car next to me at the robots the other day.

Get yourself the JB4 and some aftermarket goodies to really unleash the potential of that beast....great car
