335i or 435i?

Hi,

I need some advice , planing to buy a 1 or 2 year old Bmw. Which would you you choose 335i or 435i . Probably won't go for a coupe need a family friendly ride.

I honestly would go for the 435i, I just love the look of those cars. they would work if your kids are still small, but in my opinion not as great as in the 3 series. The head and leg room is much smaller in the 4 series

The 435i will hold it resale value much better.

They do come in a 4 door version also.

I hate the BMW naming conventions, but the 435i gran coupe (sedan with half a hatchback) or whatever its called does look nicer than the 335i. No idea about leg room/boot space etc. Real coupes (2 doors) tend to hold their value better as they are less popular and the 2nd hand market isn't as full.
335 and 435 are going to drop in value quick when the 340's and 440's are everywhere.

U guys are making me more indecisive bring the x40's into the line up. My first choice is actually a e90 M3 but can't find one anywhere. I don't think I like the look of the 4 door 435i gran coupe the 435i coupe looks much better, how is the space in the coupe or would it just be impractical?

I had the 435i previously and now the 335i.

Both drive great. Looks wise I prefer the 435i. I like the 4 series look, and have always preferred coupes.

How big is your family? Space in the coupe is actually quite nice. I only had 1 child at the time I had my 435i. Only problem is that it's a 4 seater (hard panel in the middle of the rear seats).

Now I have 2 children and the 335i is more practical to be honest. If it's an option, go with the 435i gran coupe as it has the practicality of the 3 series sedan but 4 series look. If the gran coupe isnt to your liking I'd say go 335i
