Not sure if this is normal

Sometimes if go over a small bump or dip while accelerating , the rear wheels feels like loose almost sort of going a slight bit sideways....happens at low speed and high speed........ if that makes any sense...

im not sure if its the springs or shocks ? because the sportsback got harder suspension? car only has 45000km....

thanks

You got runflats? Feels like the back tyres are bouncing almost and traction light normally flashes?

Switch to normal "go flat" tyres. I also have the m-sport on my e92 and with runflats the car would skip/bounce when the road surface wasn't perfect. Normal tyres on same rims, cars handles much better. Ride comfort improved too. Turn in felt a little different, but overall a huge improvement.

What happens when you have a flat and no spare, with normal tyres?

What brand of tyres do you currently have? Some brand of runflats perform on bumps.

I keep a goo and an elec pump in the boot. Got the BMW sparewheel for long trips.
RFT or Non RFT is a personal choice I guess. I just found it stupid to have crap ride quality 100% of the time for the possibility of a flat tyre once in blue moon.
The last flat tyre I got was the day I switched to normal tyres (Murphy's law!)
RFT do have their place if you drive bad areas at night time etc and are worried about having to stop and change a tyre. Or you get a puncture in a really dangerous spot of the freeway etc. Personally I will take my chances (he says while touching wood)

I suppose having a biscuit spare is peace of mind.
I'd have my heart in my throat driving without a spare with normal tyres.
The last time I had a slow punture (cracked wheel), about 2 years ago, was with the runflats. Slow punture that needing inflating up every 150 kms. Driving at 1bar on a runflat was fine. Wouldn't have been the same on a normal tyre. That at night too.

I think runflats on a M-sport make the ride even worst , will buy a normal set of go flats and spare wheel.

in europe customers where given and option whether to have RFT and normal....thats a nice option to have.

You get use to the vehicle shifting over bumps. Scary when you first get the vehicle, but I've not felt it affect handling.
