Hello fellow beemer lovers, recently had a recon on the turbo. what i did is i removed the tapped cover as well and the injector nozzles to gain space, after assembling everything, cranked the motor until oil came from the oil pipe going to the turbo. That is after replacing oil and all the filter, then started the vehicle which iddled smooth for the first 5 minutes then it went off on its own.restarted again but this time it had a rough iddle and misfiring.Removed the injector nozzle plugs one by one to identify which one could be struggling.I did not get a change of sound on unplugging. So my issue is that the injectors were operating properly prior to DIY on the vehicle. Please advise on what could be the problem. 330d e46 2002. 0848389389 whatsapp can be efficient as well.

injector seals. or rather let me put it this one, i have your vehicles cousin, e39 5 series yr2000 530d. i bought the car with new injectors, but a few 1000km later... same symptoms as yours... ended up that when the injectors came out they were missing some of their seals.

the people that installed the injectors didnt install them properly.

you should never remove the turbo out the top, exactly to avoid this type of problems. turbo out the bottom, as bmw themselves do it..

if you disconnect the injectors you have to work ultra ultra clean, the smallest bit of dirt finding its way into the high pressure side will block a injector.. when installing injectors the copper seal at the bottom of the injector AND THE !SEAT! has to be squeaky clean or it wont seal.. causing blowby.
