Seems like a good deal, I would just have the crank pulley checked out, with that amount of kilos it should be close to burned rubber.

I'm on 142'000kms and am seriously worried about my crank pulley going - I hate that driving a ticking time bomb feeling. Does it go without warning or are there some signs?

Mine started with the power steering make a awful sound far left or right, then after a while it broke in 2 pieces, I had the outer ring removed while I waited for OEM from BMW. Just the part alone set me back 2 arms and a leg. Best of luck!!!

Not sure about the engine. Mine is N57, I think.
The part plus the 4 bolts cost me R8500 from Auto Atlantic and
that was including a bit of discount.
I've seen on Gump that there are pirate parts for give and take
about R3500. Goldwagen has NOT yet got them for the 330d, they stock only
320d.
In my case my warranty which is AMP paid R8000.

Hennie, you are going to have the same problem with the road to your farm with a m/s E90 as they are low as it is, and with the m/s package it is even lower. Get an X5 for piece of mind! They are nice cars but no match for a E60 530d. Had a E90 330d auto 2008 pre lci and was not happy with it. Ride was harsh, steering was very heavy and consumption i battled to get 14km/l. When i got my E60 530d i could not believe the difference in ride comfort, performance and economy from basicly the same motor.

Is true... will definitely have the same issues
my biggest problem is that finding a well looked after x5 in my price bracket is a next to impossible
I should have swop you when I had the chance.

I replaced mine on my e46 320d and it has one bolt got a new one for R2000 and changed it myself it took 2 days but changed it.
