For something that has been on G.tree for a while, has 3021+ hits and is looking this good for R60k..... there MUST be something wrong with the car, or the person selling it!

there is NO 325is SHADOWLINE.

The correct term is 325is and 325is HP (high power)
Evo I and Evo II are created by the public, just like "german spec"....

"Shadowline" is BMW's name for the optional black trim that is offered on later model year cars.
The Shadowline sports look which has been incredibly popular in europe for years. Whether your car is modified or not, everyone knows the unique sleek look of a Shadowline

Therefore: 325is Evo I or II - Shadowline

No. Don't trust what wiki says. The iS came standard with the M-Tech II body kit. Every shadowline I've ever seen came with the same kit. Where things differ is the shadowline had normal 4 hole suspension, but the iS had 5 hole suspension and it's engine was more powerful than a shadowline.

The first IS (Evo 1) had aluminium panels. Hood, fenders, and doors. There were about 250 made of the Evo 1.

Then it was decided that the aluminium panels were too expensive so they went back to normal steel, but the Evo 2 got 10kw more than the Evo 1. Again there were about 250 made of the Evo 2.

There are a few Evo 2's around that also have aluminium panels. These cars were build with the more powerful engine and got the aluminium panels that were left.

Most people refer to these cars as either Evo 1 or Evo 2 as it sounds cooler than saying "normal IS" and "IS HP" :):)
