hello guys
so since i got my car the Auto transmission has been a bit rough when going through the gears at low speeds, its a slight jerk that you could feel, not very bad but just a bit irritating,i realised this after i got into a friend's E90 320i which changed gears so smoothly.
So i called BMW and they said i might need a software update for my transmission,i did a little research and came across someone who was talking about a throttle reset, went it to my car and did it,took the car for a drive and Behold :rollsmile:i can't feel the jerking anymore and the throttle now responds quicker.
i really hope the problem has been resolved for good.will update you in a week or two if anything changes.Just happy its fixed now.The process i did was:
1) Push the key in the ignition without foot on break.
2) Press the ignition button to get AUX Power
3) Press and hold the accelerator all the way to the floor for 20-30 seconds
4) Turn off power

Are there any other tricks like these you know of?
this is so good to know, even tho I do not have an Auto, we tried this on a friends auto and it worked too :)
