320i F30 Fuel economy

Hi all

Just curious to know what fuel economy are other 320i BMW f30 owners experiencing with full on town driving. I'm getting close on a horrific
10l/100km ! Is this as expected ? Normal? Or should I be worried ? Mileage close on 28000km.

10/100 for a high boost turbo charged motor in a heavy body is not totally crazy, is it ?

Stop go traffic and that is acceptable I would think ?

lol highway driving I get mine down to 6.6 to 6.9 well I used to currently car sitting at BMW SA :blueCry: lol the 335 I am using at the moment driving 120 constant sits at 9.4 lol

I'm averaging around the 8l/100km mark overall. On my drive down to Durban a couple of months ago, was 6l/100km on the way down and 6.4 on the way up.

She definitely doesn't like town driving economy wise.

My 328i is sitting on 10.3l/100.

Wont go lower no matter how granny I drive. Overall I am impressed, much more economic than my 330i was.

My 320i floats between 9 and 10 depending on the traffic I encounter, but it is always city driving, no freeways.

I told you...trade it in for a 320d. I get 6.2l in traffic driving in Comfort mode.

Wife's daily drive - Stop go traffic, no highyways on a +- 18km daily round trip commute through JHB's Northern suburbs and she sits at 11.2l per 100km avg. :hammerhead:

I get 8.7l/100km in town driving, and the best i got on the open road was 7.5l\100km. I have a 320i and this is in comfort mode.

My e90 330 relaxes between 10.5 & 11.0 stop go runs. A bit heavy but fun going sideways every now n then 😎
