The unit does not produce smoke.The change below 2000rpm is not really noticeable although response is better.The biggest difference is between 2000 and 3000rpm.
Figures quoted are maximum so don't be mislead by an increase of only 12kw.I think in the midrange there is probably a lot more than that if you look at figures achieved.
The kit is not for people who drive around at normal speed and obey the speed limit.By this i mean the biggest difference comes in at the higher speed range as indicated by the 80-180 time that betters the standard car by almost 4 seconds.
Fuel economy tested over 10km at 120km/h is the same.
