Hi All
I have an awesome 2009 320D LCI with a map and been driving amazing until recently(2months). The mileage is 207000km.
3 months ago, the car went into Limp mode while driving under normal conditions, and restarting it usually cleared the error. This happened sporadically and there was no pattern that led to the limp mode.
A few weeks later, after driving the car for some time (over 40min), and had to stop and switched off the car. When I tried starting it a few min later, the engine was not turning at all, and you could hear a clicking noise like it's trying to send a signal to the starter but nothing happened. To resolve this, I'd keep the car off for 300min, after which it would start without any issues. This happened on and off until recently.
All this time, my INPA scan wasn't able to communicate with the vehicle so I got a scan completed using LAUNCH Machine and that indicated the following:
Then the current issue that I'm battling with is a hard/no-start. I got the vehicle scanned with the LAUNCH machine again, and also used Deep OBD App with my ELM327 Wifi adapter and both showed the following errors:
If I unplug battery for a few minutes, I'm still not able to start the car.
If I unplug ECU and plug it back in, then car starts fine. ECU is not damp inside and the ECU housing is dry.
So I'm not sure what the issue might be here, any suggestions on this?
