320d E90 Hunting on Startup

Hi

I'm having an issue with my 320d E90 2009. It's hunting on startup. Took it into BMW and they have confirmed that the fuel pump, injectors and airflow meter are all fine.

They think it might possible be the fuel filter heating element, but aren't 100% sure.

Has anyone else experienced this issue and if so how was it resolved? I don't want to throw money away on a guess

On the petrol motors, the oil breather system can cause hunting.


Not sure if this could be the case on the diesel.
