320d Boost Comes in Hard

Hey guys
okay i have just purchased a 2011 BMW 320d MPACK BLACK
Now i have driven a 2010 model about 3 months ago for a week and the car pulled nice and strong.

My 2011 one i have for about 2 weeks.
i noticed the car pulls really hard and the boost comes in very violently.
Is it me or is it all in my mind.

On a flat road if i just floor it the traction light blinks a couple of times as its battles for traction.
The car has 11 200km

Is this normal

Sound normal to me. My 320d (2010) did the same. Much worse now after the Power Kit fitted.

Try a hard launch on a cold night with cold road and tyre surface...fun!

Its kinda normal except for the traction control every time. Boost is hard but not always that hard on a smooth flat road.

The car was registered to Bmw so i am the 1st owner.
i am gratefull that she pulls hard.
Maybe i will do a power run by Shane at Kar Tommorow and see.

Sounds about right to me, flooring it, engages the "kickdown" mode, and you traction control, will have a seizure.

Unless this car is fishtailing like a shad in July down at the coast chasing sardines, it sounds like everything is normal.

Congrats on the car. Your car sounds alot like mine actually, except that mine is exclusive.

hows the tyre tread depth. if there isnt enough rubber on those rims, traction will be a serious problem.

Initialising kick down mode will mean that the kick comes in very hard, you can probably snap a liteys neck in the backseat doing this :nonono:

Without initialising kick down mode (regular operation), the car should rev up normally spooling the turbo and easing you into a nice thick SMILE!
