I attended to an oil leak coming from my timing cover.
While stripping the covers it hit me... How about playing around with the timing?
Long story short I retard the exhaust cam by 2° and advanced the intake cam by 2° for an overlap.
Yes it worked great.
My car starts normal with no strange sounds and pulls way better. However the oil leak is still there.... Stripped the thread of one bolt
I will monitor the cars behaviour for the next week.
Its been three days and its going strong.
