318i e30 - Exhaust upgrade

howsit gents.

so its time for an exhaust upgrade and i'm looking into getting something rather sporty, with a nice deep throaty roar, but yet idles like standard standard silencer.

Any recommendations?

Get a V8.

With a 4-cylinder keep it as quite as is possible, "performance" exhausts just sound like crap on them :yuck:

Was thinking the same thing :grin: (though rather go for a M60 740i as there are even cheaper than the 5'ers)

powerflow always do some nice work. and playing around with the box lengths etc will keep it sounding civilized.
