3.2 conversion

Hi guys
I own a e36 3.0 M3 and I was thinking of fitting a 3.2 sub assembly in my car. If possible would it be a straight fit or what mods would I have to carry out on the 3.0 head? Has this conversion been done before? Any advice would help.

Thanks guys

and works really well as well, alot of guys opt for using the 3.2 sub with your 3.0 head. Should be straight fit plug and play

Thanks for the replies guys. So I take it its basically just plug and play.
Now comes the difficult part of sourcing a 3.2 sub:flyfun:

Can be done, seen online. Though most opt for 3.2 head on a 3.0 block due to its better flow.
People also normally carry over the single vanos into the 3.2 head as it gives less shit.

Spoke to a guy at JYM motors today and he reckons that the 3.2 has a different computer box too. Lotsa guys advised against the 3.2 head because of the problematic double vanos but if the vanos can be changed then it shoudnt be a problem
