I drive a 2004 545i and just bought my wife a 2008 x5 4.8i - both cars are metallic charcoal. Loving the look of our garage... :=):

Yep... you're not wrong. 9.2 litres and 16 cyclinders = a big, big thirst! Fortunately , I've got a <10km drive to work, and my wife doesn't drive far either - and the X5 is a little less thirsty on the open road. It's a great car - really looking forward to taking it on holiday. :=):
