25 June Road Car Track day Killarney

Sat 25th
2pm-6pm
Entries from 1.30pm and drivers briefing at 2pm.
Scutineering usually from 1:30pm. Note: battery must be secure, seats and seatbelts in working order and secure, no cracks in the disk brakes. <1/2 tank fuel (this one I am not too sure about) No NOS.
SABS helmet. long sleeve shirts, long pants and closed shoes. I think it is R200 for car and driver. R100 for passenger... or something like that.
There are three groups
I no overtaking or outbraking at corners, single file around the corners.
II no overtaking on corners but can outbrake, single file around the corners.
III free for all.
I find everyone is very well behaved and there are marshalls out on the track. Group I is really no pressure.
Usually some really nice hardware along with standard cars.

This was not on the calandar so they may have had a cancellation or something.

Wonderful day after initially worrying it would be a wet track it turned out to be a good day. I am consistantly amazed with the coupe. I did 2 group 1 sessions that it 15minutes a go. Then the open class at the end where the coupe did 26 minutes of very hard driving, hard braking and bad driving and not a peep or a problem. Infact I think it goes better now...
Difficult to time and drive but worked out I was doing 1:35 a lap. Not too shabby
I did get thumped on the straight by a black e46 M3... cannot be standard. Z4M and the Coupe matched up pretty well.
