2019/20 M5, M8 & X5M recall campaign

For awareness and information.

Got a call from BMW today on a recall campaign on my car. They said wiring harness needs to be replaced.

Googled it, and it relates to above mentioned cars.

Please call the dealership and make sure that there is actually a recall.

New scam going around where people call car owners pretending to work for dealers and convince customers that there is a campaign affecting there cars.
Tell you to not drive the car and rather have it towed. So you hand over the keys and the car only to call the dealer a day or 2 later to find out that they dont have said car or that there is no outstanding campaign and the car has been stolen..

Ya unfortunately it's not the only brand that it's happened too. It appears to be the "new style"
