2016 F10 520d How much should I be asking for it?

Hi All

So I'm toying with the idea of letting go of my 2016 520d m/sport. The car is in great condition, accident free and full service history with BMW. It's currently sitting on about 115k kms. It's stock standard aside from a wireless CarPlay module and reverse camera that I had installed. Other nice touches include the digital instrument cluster, pro nav, sunroof, etc. I have a dealer coming out to see the car tomorrow - any suggestions on what a reasonable price would be to consider given the condition / mileage? I'm anticipating the usual dealer low-balling to happen but just wanted to get a sense or some views of what a sensible amount would be?

Pictures below.

Kind Regards
Cust

My guess is that you could market it at 295 with some wiggle room, knowing someone is going to offer you 260 and you can negotiate from there. I don't think you can ask too much more because G30s start to creep in not far from there albeit with higher mileages (and with similar mileages in the early 400s). The market is definitely cooling.

PSA to avoid scams doing the rounds with private sales... especially dodge dealers wanting to put it on their floors/facilitate sales.

Banks won't give the buyer a hassle getting it financed at any of the price points above. Do check in with WBC. You never know.

If you have owned the car for more than 6 months, you can try Weelee too (over and above WBC). They seem to offer more than WBC.

The admin and hassle of a private sale can be daunting. Market has too many scammers now, sad but true.

Its a great car, solid with a fine engine. Hope a forum member can nab it before its too late.

Getworth would not buy my car at 118k kms as i serviced it myself after M/p expired. Car was in excellent condition so they had no reason to not buy it apart from the fact that i had serviced it myself. 2016 F30 320d auto. They wanted to see a workshop stamp! WBC offered a decent price and was just about to buy it and were on their way to come get it when i sold it to my brother in law. He is over the moon with it.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Dealer came out last Friday but still waiting for them to get back to me on a price. Traveling at the moment so haven’t had a chance to push them but sent a message today to follow up. Also noting all the guys that have PM’d their interest in the car, will let you know once I have their offer as a benchmark 👍

These are such fantastic cars with great mileage despite it being so big.
very reliable with minimal issues.
Used my dads to a few Durban trips and its so comfortable.
Bang for buck cars these and yours looks really in good nick.

When we was selling, dealers will low ball on the 5 series models. Very hard to get close to trade on these.
We marked ours lower than similar on the market however no interest and lots of people wasting your time in the private market.
Eventually we dropped it close to trade price and it sold after a while.

They go for R300k and more just check autotrader and carfind, If you cant get atleast R280k for yours then don’t let it go.
