This was a car that supported the Vanderbijlpark drags today and the owner was kind enough to let us do a Racechrono datalog like i do on all the BMW's.
The car ran a best of 11.19sec on the 1/4 and best exit 194km/h.
We tested the car later on when temperatues had dropped to 14degrees.The effect was apparent on the exit speeds that went up due to colder denser air but the negative was less traction off the line even for this mighty 4 wheel drive system.

60ft........................2,1sec.............55km/h
1/8mile...................7.9sec............155km/h
1/4mile..................11.7secs..........200km/h
800mts..................18.1secs..........242km/h
1km.......................20.9secs..........256km/h

Brakes are amazing for the car to do this speed and still stop at end of track.

0-100kmh...............4.0 secs
0-200km/h.............11.7secs
80-120...................2.3secs
60-160...................4.9secs
100-200.................7.9secs
100-240................13.8secs
100-180.................5.8secs

This car has absolutely shattered all best figures that are on the database.

Yeah it's amazing how quick a big car like this gets to 100 in under 4sec at Mtuba yesterday a new record was set with a 2014 model 10.5

I analized the graphics on the run this morning and found something interesting. The gear changes on this car take 0.45sec 1st to second, then 0.45sec second to third, but thereafter the changes only take 0.15sec.This suggests to me that the engineers have softend the low gear changes to save the drivetrain. Now imagine software that brings those two changes to the 0.15sec and there is a saving of 0.6sec.That gives a possibility of 3.4sec 0-100.
Amazing.
Dean was that car running semi slicks at the coast that did 10.5sec?A car doing that time has a 0-100 time in the region of 2.7sec.

Yes the car was o Toyo R888 on all 4. I tested a 2013 spec last year, all stock (pump fuel, factory tyres) actually it only had about 2500km's we achieved 3.4sec to 100 and around 11.7sec @ around 193kmh over the 1/4. Yes 10.5 done at the Coast.
