2012 F20 120d auto

Anyone that owns one? Would like to know what it is like to own one as a friend was thinking of buying one. Had a lift once in a 116i auto and was quite impressed with the ride and performance so the 120d should be a real performer, especially with the 8 speed auto. I am worried that the ride could be choppy because of the (short) wheelbase, so correct me if i am wrong. How comfortable is the back seats for adults and is it easy to get in and out of the car in the back?

I have a 2012 F20 120d auto from new and have covered about 36000km so far. As far as the ride goes I am quite happy with it. My previous car was an Audi A4 B6 and I would rate the 120d the same ride quality if not better. The only issue may be poor roads, which may be felt a bit more due to the run flats but i fortunately have rarely experienced this.

The car performs well and is fast, well balanced, with plenty of torque and rear wheel drive fun. Fuel consumption is excellent, and can easily achieve 4.3l/100km on the open road. The 8 speed auto is a must have for the 120d as this makes the most of the performance and fuel economy. The diesel makes even more sense if one is covering a lot of km per year. If not doing a lot of mileage the F20 125i is another good alternative. The rear seats are quite comfortable and was able to go for a weekend away for four with luggage. For the exterior i would recommend the m sport kit.

No question about the msport kit :thumbs: with the technology package or whatever it is. xenons etc

The F20 is much improved over the coupe in terms of ride quality including increased leg room and wheel base.

You cannot go wrong with a F20 120d its a brilliant car.
