2010 330d electrical issue

Good day all.

Got my car back from the Panelbeaters after some cosmetic touch up. I have been experiencing electrical issues since i got it back.

At first the car would sound if the battery is flat when starting, but started every time. Even after doing some distance it remained the same.

Today i got a yellow handbrake warning and red car on lift warning, the windows wont open, indicators dont work, lights turn on even when in off position and interior roof lighting also wont come on. Radio and climate control works fine and car starts.

I tried to disconnect the battery but it did not help at all, charging at 13,89v. I put a charger on that will charge through the night.

Any advice to what i can be the culprit here?

I am from Burgersfort in Limpopo, no dealers in a 150km raduis.

Would really appreciate any advice.

So either your battery has a dead cell or if the car was jump started they damaged the mulf unit

Hey Charl,

I did respond to your Whatsapp and as I said there, it's your FRM that's faulty. This is a common problem on these cars after it's been incorrectly jump started.

I do repair these (lots of them in fact) so will gladly assist you in getting it resolved.

Yep..its the Footwell Module guaranteed.

My car went to the dealer for a check on the gearbox..in the process they managed to F up the Footwell Module and explained that none of the stuff mentioned above is working...same symptoms.
