2009 BMW 1 Series 125i Coupe Auto

Hi Members,


So my brother is looking at joining the BMW Family and has spotted a 125i at we Buy cars(Ad below). The car looks okay from the pictures and mileage decent can you advise what pitfalls he should look out for when viewing the car. Also if anyone has seen or can vouch for the car it would be highly appreciated.

They are great cruisers and very reliable,but make sure to test the car properly before pulling the trigger as buyers of these cars often times buy them expecting good performance and decent fuel consumption,criteria which is unfortunately not met in most cases.

mgwaiting: oooh these are great cars but fuel consumption is horrific concidering that its been detuned and dont utilize the full potential of a 3l motor (of which it is) :thumbdo: so thats its downfall.
But its a great car, take it for a spirited drive on a very smooth surface and see what the suspension and the wheels are like, as those are not the Motorsport rims (ie 135 rims) they should be ok.

looks identical mine is just white

Loving every second

Road holding is amazing power is okay fuel consumption could be better
but will be doing software soon witch should give more power and give better consumption you can PM me a bit later in next month and I will let you know how that turns out if u interested

But all in all
These cars are perfect awesome cars

These cars are great and “bulletproof” aside from the horrible fuel consumption.
I had an e90 330i and the fuel consumption was much better than the 125i.

Agreed, i had a 135i e82 and a 125i and the 135i had better fuel economy.
