2009 320D or 330i

Decision time, ihave a 2009 320D sreptronic which i am extremly happy with. Been offered a 2009 330i with sports pack, all really sexy, pro`s and cons on both sides, cant decide......your thoughts????:bangdesk:

however if it was 330D vs 330i then it would be a tough choice...


just my opinion.... dont hate.... as much as i love diesels (now that i own one), I still think that the 330i is a much better car than a 320d....



your needs may be different.... but by reading into your choices im sure that you understand the fuel cost difference (Awesomness Tax (R) - Registered Trademark owned by Sankekur).. and by that I would say go for the 330i.

Funny enough i just traded in my E90 330i for a newish 320d due to high k's on the clock of the 330i. The accountant in my head wanted the 320d for many logical reasons, but my heart still misses that 190KW glorious straight 6 if you want pure visceral noise and power, 330i.. if you want a cracking mix of power and economy then 320d, a great car in it's own right. Dam it's hard being all grown up!

320d if you need good fuel consumption and do a lot of travel...

I love the consumption on my diesel although the straight six's sound will make all financials go out the window...

I have no experience with the E90 320d's, but I do know that they are very fuel efficient and tractable for everyday traffic. But as far as the E90 330i is concerned - have one and loving it! The sound and feel of it makes up for the fuel it uses which in reality is not that bad for a car like this. Wasn't looking for an econobox in the first place.

Definitely the 330i - one of the best sounding 6cylinders out there. But as the guys said all dependant on whether economy is important to you as it doesn't get any better than the 320d in that regard.
