2008 Bmw z4 2.0I automatic roof

Hi. Im new to this forum. Im getting my z4 next week. But it doesn't have an automatic roof top and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can buy one and how much do they go for.

I never knew you could get one without an electric folding roof? So does that mean you need to manually pull the roof up and down?

It can be used manually when the motor has failed, suspect that is the problem here.

Are you sure the roof mechanism isn't broken? I have never seen a Z4 with a manual roof in SA , But the Z4 did come with manual roof systems as well .

Check if you have the buttons , on the center dash , and if they don't work ,

Check the fuses ?

But if you really don't have one , Maybe you could retrofit a roof form a scrapped car to your car? Might be a big process though.
