2006 E46 M3 Turbo

Hi Everyone,

Not sure where to post this but I just had to. My old flame 2006 M3 visited us today. The new owner called me out of the blue and said he's in the area and wants to show me what's happened to my old flame. Savspeed turbo'd the car and its still running in low boost, 0.9-1.0 bar or somewhere there.

I've had the privilege of driving in some fast cars, but I think it's safe to say that this could be the fastest car both Dad and I have been in ever.

I gave him a fanatics card and told him to join, he joined some other BMW club, but he should be on fanatics soon. The car sounds mental!

Here are some pics and I'm busy editing some videos. The sound and feeling is indescribable  Love it or hate it, like many people disapprove of the A/C removal, this car is in a different league. We even had the luck to meet a black V8 M3 going around the block and it's scary how much faster it is

Well in today's weather, I prefer the aircon. I'm sorry, but that's how I feel.:fencelook:

Just to give some background, this is his marketing car. Not his daily by any means. It's supposed to be all out crazy and draw attention. Car still needs to go for it's second run in tune up and set up for high boost.

Don't know the current dyno figures, but Sav had a high boost run with pump fuel and reckons it's one of the stronger runs without avgas.

Here's the video of the little joyride :) (edited video link)

Low boost 309kw high boost 395kw, corrected 24% for altitude and at the wheels, according to SAV, he wrote on the Graphs as well. Both tunes 1and2 on 95 fuel.

I have seen much neater E46 turbo engine bays that has come from Sav. Wonder what he was up to here.

You should see Sergio's Turbo Z4 M from Savspeed. Engine bay to drool over!!

Speed is nice but I prefer the condition of the original car.

I agree. I wish people who want to boost would use older, higher mileage examples and rather preserve the remaining excellent condition/low mileage models.

Fixed and added video link. Slipped my hands sorry, I'm way too poor to do something like that anyway, but even if I had the $$ I probably wouldn't but it was still awesome to experience!
