2004 645CI Brakes,Xhaust,TV advice please

Hi gents,new to the forum,Bmw and Jozi
I recently bought a 645Ci and looking for a place to have a service and brakes done firstly,then i would like to sort out the tv as its not picking up reception and if budget allows fit an aftermarket xhaust.Being from the Cape and owning Honda i have no clue where to start.I live in Fourways and havent seen any independant workshops around here.Good advice will be appreciated,thanks

Don't go to the dealers. I'm sure one of the locals can sort you on the brakes. Contact Gizmo, he's also on the forum and he does lots of work on BMW's. He will be able to help you on the brakes and maybe the TV.

For Exhaust, van der Linde systems, Wildcat or TNT/Powerflow, and my preference according to feedback from other people would probably be in that order.

I just want to make it clear, I'm no expert in this, so please don't take what I say as the gospel.

I've also heard good things about Viper and if I'm not mistaken I think Gizmo had a Viper exhaust. There's a lot of guys that do great work. I know the ST okes RAVE about Sanjeev from Powerflow, I think his shop is in Randburg (but I'm not sure).

I know van der Linde does excellent work on the lumina's and there's a guy here that did his E90 M3 at van der linde as well and they all showed massive power gains.

If I were you I'd contact either Gizmo, clucthplate or zaleanordz. There's a lot of knowledgeable guys here, but as far as I know these guys are all up in Joburg somewhere.
